From ChristianbookThis is exactly what I expected. It is compact and portable so I can take the Bible on the go. The print is large enough, you need to understand that it is a compact edition. If the print were any larger the book would need to be a lot thicker and the pages are thin enough. A ribbon would have been a great addition; however, the snap case is great to have. Overall, it a great buy!
From AmazonPlease note, I did a bit of research before I bought this Bible and found that some folks were disappointed at the misleading "Large print". The title of this product should not have a comma between the words Compact and Large Print, as what it really is, is a "Compact Large print" Bible. For a Compact Bible, it has large print, size 8. You'll find this info in the "features include" and press the "read more" in light blue. You'll also find more info in that feature list. Maps include "Abraham's journey" "The Exodus and Conquest of Canaan"(though all maps of that Exodus journey are now "off" since Ron Wyatt, and now Michael Rood with more sophisticated technology and research, have found the true place of the Red Sea crossing and the real Mt Sinai) "Land of the 12 tribes", "Kingdom of David and Solomon", "Jesus' Ministry", "Paul's Missionary Journeys", and "Jerusalem at the time of Jesus". As for size of the book, it'll fit a purse or a cargo pants, but not a regular jean back pocket. But the flap cover is what makes all the difference in the book's life span! No bent pages!!!!!!!!!
