A new Bible designed for students, young adults, and new believers.

Thomas Nelson Bibles and bestselling authors Michael & Hayley DiMarco announce the release of The TEXT, a new Bible for students, young adults, and new believers designed to help them uncover God’s message for them in the pages of Scripture.

The TEXT introduces a new Bible engagement method called TEXTTalk to God; Encounter God and humanity in Scripture; eXamine your heart; Talk to others—to help readers of every experience level interact with God’s message. Along with this memorable and easy-to-use Bible engagement technique, this Bible includes features designed to help younger Christians, teachers, and leaders overcome the challenges many believers face in reading and studying Scripture on their own. Among these are book introductions and study tools that use everyday language, devotionals exploring the character of God, descriptions of important terms and topics, and guidance to help readers follow the threads of the gospel throughout the text of Scripture.

The TEXT is the first collaboration between Thomas Nelson Bibles and the DiMarcos, who serve as its general editors.

“In all our years of writing books for teens, young adults, and new believers, we dreamed of a Bible like this,” the DiMarcos said, “of a way to encourage people that God had a message for them, that he still speaks through the Text of all Texts.”

This desire also motivated them to publish The TEXT using the New English Translation (NET). The NET is a ministry-first translation that combines clarity of language with unprecedented transparency with over 60,000 translator notes freely available at netbible.org. Because of this commitment to readability and transparency, readers of The TEXT will experience a balanced and accurate translation that grows with them as they do.

As Christian teachers and leaders help people grow in their confidence and ability to read and study Scripture, Philip Nation, Vice President and Publisher of Nelson Bibles, believes The TEXT will be a valuable tool to assist them.

The TEXT helps students engage the Bible in a way that makes sense to everyday living,” he said. “It offers up a simple process that anyone can use to understand every Scripture passage. I’m excited to see how The TEXT is going to impact an entire generation of Bible readers.”

The DiMarcos are equally hopeful that The TEXT and its approach to Scripture engagement will help younger Christians build a life-long routine of Bible reading and study. “Our hope is that The TEXT becomes a go-to Bible for young adults, new believers, and those that have struggled to read, study, and engage directly with the Bible.”

The TEXT is now available everywhere Bibles are sold. Learn more about The TEXT and the TEXT Method at textbible.com.
